Wrapping up the wandering "down east," take 2.1

One of the fun things about this kind of traveling is the freedom to change my route. This post replaces the one I added five days ago, adding three four new stops.

On September 11 I head to New England for the last of this year's planned road trips to reconnect with Rae's and my family and friends and to see the U.S. Here's my tentative itinerary for the 10-15 days' journey:

  • Thiells, NY (new)
  • Amherst, MA
  • Windsor, VT - the Precision Museum
  • Burlington, VT
  • Cooper, ME, as down east as you can go without being in New Brunswick
  • Machias, ME (new)
  • Intervale, NH (new)
  • Boston
  • Orleans, if anyone's on the Cape to visit
  • Providence
  • Brooklyn (newest)
  • Haverford, PA
If you're anywhere along this route, or even if not, let me know if you'd welcome a visit. Detours are what wandering is about.
