On the road again! (almost)

It's happening! I should be leaving Sunday morning on my second coast-to-coast driving trip.

Here's my westbound itinerary with possible arrival dates - everything is subject to change. If you're one of my stops I'll be phoning or e-mailing you tonight or tomorrow, and again when I'm close enough to have a better fix on the date and time. If you don't hear from me by tomorrow (Tuesday), please bug me!

• Yellowstone National Park Saturday, June 5
• Missoula, MT Wednesday, June 9
• Glacier National Park Thursday, June 10
• Seattle, WA Saturday, June 12
• Victoria, BC Monday, June 14
• Portland, OR Wednesday, June 16
• San Jose, CA along with San Francisco, Oakland, and Boulder Creek Friday, June 18

I may linger in the Bay Area for up to a month, depending on my hosts' patience and my homesickness for DC. The return trip will include Hoover Dam, the Four Corners, Denver, Scottsbluff, NE (I promised!), Iowa City, Urbana, IL, and anyone I missed in the Chicago area on the outbound trip.

The big change from my earlier plans is that the visit to Maine is postponed until late summer.
